Digital Guard

Version 0.1.0

What Digital Guard does.

Scanning, folder watching, behaviour rules, quarantine and automatic updates, built for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit).

Made for evolving threats. Malware changes constantly, and AI tools can help attackers vary and disguise it. Digital Guard combines frequently refreshed signatures with behaviour rules, so it does not rely on recognising a threat by name alone.
  1. 01

    Scan at your own pace

Choose a quick scan of sensitive areas, a full scan of the system, or point it at a single folder. Progress is shown live and you can pause or cancel whenever you like.

  2. 02

    Folders under watch

Digital Guard watches the folders you pick and checks new files as they arrive. Downloads, Desktop and Documents are selected by default. This is folder monitoring, not protection of the whole system.

  3. 03

    Behaviour rules

YARA rules recognise suspicious patterns: hidden or encoded PowerShell, download-and-run scripts, obfuscated code, Office macros that start programs, packed executables, and scripts that ask an AI model for code and run it.

  4. 04

    Quarantine you control

Anything detected is set aside, not destroyed. You choose to restore or delete each file. Only restore a file when you are certain where it came from and that it is safe.

  5. 05

    Signatures that stay fresh

Signatures update automatically every 1 to 24 hours, as you prefer. An internet connection is required. Updates come from the ClamAV servers operated by Cisco Talos.

  6. 06

    A history you can read

Search and filter the event log, and export it as CSV. Scan results and settings stay on your computer.

Heuristics are not certainty. No detection is guaranteed and behaviour rules can flag safe files. Review an alert before restoring anything from quarantine. A match does not prove a file was written by AI.
